If you thought that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif made a great pair in Bollywood, it is time for the next generation Aayush Sharma – Salman’s brother in law and Isabelle Kaif – Katrina’s sister to follow the suit.

Aayush, who debuted in the Salman produced Love Yatri, was earlier announced as the protagonist of Kwatha, and will now be joined by Isabelle. The younger Kaif will be making her big Bollywood debut with this film.

Meanwhile, Isabelle’s other film with Sooraj Pancholi called Time To Dance is still awaiting a relook before it is officially out for release.

Directed by Karan Lalit Butani, Kwatha is an adventure film, based on true incidents of the Indian Army.

Confirming the news, the director says,  “We, as a team,  are extremely happy to have Aayush Sharma and Isabelle Kaif as the leads of Kwatha. Not many people are aware that Kwatha is a village at the India - Myanmar border. The film is based on true events with an unconventional plot and actors like Aayush and Isabelle are right for a film like this.”

Stepping into the shoes of an army officer, Aayush underwent intensive preparation for his role in the film, including working on his physique and his look. Isabelle, on the other hand, has undergone acting training of four years at the renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.

While details of her role are under wraps at the moment, inside sources reveal that the character is tailor-made for her. Earlier, there were talks that Isabelle could make her debut opposite Aayush in Love Yatri, but that did not happen and now Kwatha has made it possible.

Both the actors are currently doing multiple reading sessions under an intensive workshop for the film. The film is bankrolled by Purple Bull Entertainment and Cult Entertainment.
