Talking about her acting fees in a period drama to be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it is said that she has manage to negotiate close to 11 crore plus taxes. Reportedly for Ram Leela she was paid close to 1 cr that means it is 11 times more than what she got paid in 2014.

However rumour doing the rounds is that Bhansali is not too happy with Deepika’s disclosure about the signing amount. The director who even keeps his casting news under wraps didn’t want something like a remuneration fee of an actor reach the media. Reportedly, it is believed that Bhansali reached out to Deepika with a clear message to keep quiet about this.
