Veteran actress Nafisa Ali Sodhi asks for work on Instagram; read post

Mumbai: Bollywood veteran actress Nafisa Ali Sodhi is a brave warrior as she has emerged as a warrior in the battle against cancer. In her latest Instagram post, she has written about wanting better roles as a senior actor.

In a black-and-white portfolio shot, Ali said she wants an 'elegant role to portray in Indian cinema' and added that she 'will not be dictated' to do otherwise. She wrote, “I am Nafisa Ali Sodhi and I would like an elegant role to portray in Indian cinema. So looking for a perfect script as a senior actor, I need to work to express my emotions. I will not be dictated to.”

Nafisa Ali has featured in films such as Junoon, Major Saab and Guzaarish, appears to have been inspired by another veteran actress Neena Gupta, who shared a similar post asking for work in 2017.

Nafisa was last seen onscreen in director Tigmanshu Dhulia's Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 (2018).
