Siddharth Malhotra-Parineeti Chopra’s onscreen sizzling chemistry

Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra who will be reuniting for Jabariya Jodi say that their on-screen sizzling chemistry is the result of the camaraderie they share. “Hasee Toh Phasee was our first outing together. I remember when we were enacting the romantic scenes; the director would ask us to look into each other’s eyes to make it more authentic. But in Jabariya Jodi, we would bring out the best, having known each other for some time,” says Parineeti who revealed that initially, she was wary of doing a similar film with Siddharth again. “When Siddharth came on board, he asked me to call Ekta for this film. I was skeptical but this film is very different and I am happy to be a part of it,” she adds.

The film is about groom kidnapping and is a comic caper. When asked if it has any underlying social message for the audience, Parineeti says, “It is neither preachy nor is loaded with any serious gyaan. It’s a comic spin-off from the incidents that have taken place in the country and I am sure people will love it.”
