Recently, Sidharth Malhotra was seen visiting his managers Matrix and we wondered why Alia Bhatt was accompanying him. She is a thorough professional and would not visit just to find out what he is doing. Well, here is the story.
Sidharth was visiting to see if he could manage dates for a big offer. Alia was also there because she wanted to figure out her dates that can match with Sidharth. While Mahesh Bhatt has worked a lot with his elder daughter Pooja in his directorial ventures, he has never worked with Alia.
However, Mahesh will not be directing Alia and will have one of his regular directors (read Mohit Suri) direct the film. The movie will see the lovers unite on screen in a unique manner.
Mahesh Bhatt wanted a script that would befit real lovers when they come on screen.
For those who wonder why Mahesh will not be directing Alia, let us tell you that Bhatsaab (as he is known in filmdom) is on a self-imposed exile from direction in feature films (his last venture being Zakhm starring Pooja Bhatt and Ajay Devgn).
Interestingly Aashiqui starred Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal, who became a couple and Aashiqui 2 starred Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, who went on to be a couple, but split later.
