Here's the gripping trailer of Sridevi, Nawazuddin and Akshaye starrer Mom!

Mumbai: Sridevi’s comeback film ‘English Vinglish’ was a success at the box office and her performance as a simple homemaker wanting to learn English earned applause from the critics.

While the veteran actress was seen in the Tamil film ‘Puli’ in 2015, she is returning to Bollywood after a gap of five years with ‘Mom’.

After the launch of the first teaser, the makers have finally released the film's first trailer, which looks intensely thrilling.

The film comes out as a gripping suspense thriller. Sridevi’s character seems to be extremely concerned about her daughter and is seen getting involved in finding the truths associated with her daughter’s life.

After ‘Dishoom’ last year, Akshaye Khanna also plays another pivotal character and looks intense in the few glimpses of him in the teaser.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has a cameo in the film and is almost unrecognisable in his interesting look of a middle-aged man.

Sridevi may indeed be the most stylish mother in B-town currently, but the actress has no qualms about going completely de-glam for a movie, if her character demands so.

Directed by Ravi Udyawar, Mom is a woman-centric movie, produced by Sridevi’s husband, Boney Kapoor. It also features Pakistani actors, Sajad Ali, and Adnan Siddiqui in important roles, as well as Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Mom will release on July 7.
