Sonam didn't want husband like Anil; is this what she'll gift Anand on wedding?
Sonam Kapoor is all set to get married on 8th May to her long time boyfriend Anand Ahuja in a private ceremony in Mumbai.
While her wedding cards have also been revealed on Thursday, there were certain statements she made on Simi Garewal’s TV show related to marriage and her future husband.
Sonam had said that she didn’t want a husband like her father Anil Kapoor, the reason being that she herself is like daddy dearest. The actress thus wanted a husband like her mother Sunita – the kind who understands her. We can only wonder if Anand is like that.
Coming to what she would gift her husband, she had revealed a secret, “I have written quite a few poems but there was this one poem that I wrote when I was around 16 years old. It is called Ambition. I had promised myself that as soon as I find the person that I'm going to be with, I'm going to give him that poem. The day I get married, the poem will be with that man and I'll say that this is what I want my life to be like and hopefully, we can work together towards this.”
