Bharat: Salman Khan to shoot partition scenes in Punjab
Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra are all set to reunite on the big screen after a decade in this period-drama film.

Mumbai: Salman Khan starrer 'Bharat' is set to go on floors in Punjab next month, where they will be shooting the partition scenes. A production source revealed to DNA that the director Ali Abbas Zafar has scouted 45 villages in the heartland of the state to recreate the notorious historic event.
According to a source, "The idea is to make the most significant event of our country extremely real. The set will transport the audiences to the times of the Partition. Ali and his team went scouting in 45 villages in Punjab to lock the exact location where Salman will film these scenes. Kila Raipur, Gujjarwal, Bilga and Ghungrana are some of the villages where they have done a recce so far. He is yet to decide on the village that will be the starting point of Bharat's Punjab schedule."
Ali and his team visited 45 villages of Punjab to look for the right location to shoot for the film. The 'Sultan' director recently took to twitter and shared a post with a signboard that shows the direction to the Indian-Pakistan Border.

Bharat is an official remake of the Korean film An Ode To My Father and is slated to release on Eid 2019.
