Actress turned producer Chitrangada Singh wants Soorma to work best

Actress Chitrangada Singh, who hasn’t had much luck with her filmi career, has now donned the producer’s hat with a sports-based film Soorma and has taken charge of the film’s promotions. “Chitrangada is ensuring Soorma gets a wide release and is also taking keen interest in the promotional strategies,” a source said.

According to sources, she is closely involved in setting up the right promotional plans and, besides Soorma, will be producing more films in future.
Soorma is a biopic of ace hockey player and former Indian hockey captain Sandeep Singh. The film stars Diljit Sosanjh and Taapsee Pannu in the lead. As far as Chitrangada’s own films are concerned, she will be seen in Baazaar with Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte.
