An inconsolable Rahul posts yet another picture of father Vinod Khanna; bids adieu

Mumbai: Legendary actor Vindo Khanna may have reached his final destination, Heaven, but his son Rahul Khanna is far from getting closure. Rahul, an actor himself, posted yet another picture with his father and it is perhaps the most heartbreaking thing you will see on the Internet today.

On photo-sharing application Instagram, Rahul Khanna shared a monochrome photo of his father from the day he was born, kissing Rahul on his forehead. He captioned it: You showed me how to be a gentleman and yet fight to the finish like a warrior. Bye Dad. 1946 - 2017.

On April 27, Vinod Khanna, 70, known for his performances in films like ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Qurbaani’ and ‘Insaaf - passed away after a long battle with advanced bladder carcinoma, a form of cancer .

The veteran actor breathed his last in Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

He is survived by his wife Kavita Khanna and four children- Akshaye, Rahul, Sakshi and Shraddha.
