Looks like the makers of NTR’s eponymous biopic have plans to sign more Hindi actors for their opus. First they approached Vidya Balan for Basavatarakam’s role followed by Paresh Rawal for Nadendla Bhaskara Rao’s role. And now, they have offered another role to Deepika Padukone.
“The makers are approaching Deepika Padukone for Sridevi’s cameo role. NTR and Sridevi’s combination was a big hit and they had many popular songs. It’s a short role and they feel that Deepika is perfect for it,” says a source.
Directed by Teja, NTR was launched in Hyderabad last week. However, the makers did not announce the entire cast of the project during the event. Most of the biopic will be filmed in Hyderabad itself with some key scenes in Nimmakuru, which is the late NTR’s native village.
