Aishwarya confirms being approached for Raat Aur Din and Woh Kaun Thi remake

Mumbai: Where remakes are coming in trend in Bollywood yet again, it appears that actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the first preference for them.

Aishwarya, who was last seen in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, is currently busy with ‘Fanne Khan’ which also stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

Along with that, the actress also confirmed that she has been approached for ‘Raat Aur Din’ and ‘Woh Kaun Thi’ remake.

Speaking about her upcoming projects, Aishwarya told DNA, “In ‘Fanne Khan’, I’m playing a chapter in the narrative that I believe is intrinsic to the story. I’ve been approached for the remake of ‘Raat Aur Din’, which is a great opportunity, and what’s funny is while filming ‘Shabd’, Sanju sir (Sanjay Dutt) said he’d have loved for me to play the part, and I was very touched. We’re still working out the details. I’ve also been approached for a remake of ‘Woh Kaun Thi?’”

Aishwarya had made her comeback with ‘Sarbjit’ in 2016, but her role in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ was better appreciated, even though both the movies did average business.
