Web series under consideration

Actor Mandakini is all set to make a comeback. After debuting in Ram Teri Ganga Maili, she had mysteriously gone off radar in 1990, though a few films were released later. She is now considering doing a web series.

Babubhai Thiba, her business manager for many years, says, "She has been reading a lot of scripts, but was waiting for the right one. She told me recently that she liked one of the stories and she will be signing it in all probability. The announcement will be made this month."

Mandakini is married to Kagyur Rimpoche Thakur, a Buddhist, and has embraced Buddhism herself. Thiba says Mandakini, who recently turned 58, wants to do roles that suit her age.

"She wants to play a central character but one that suits her age. In the new order, when there are films and web series being made that are centred around such protagonists, she is willing to make a comeback," he explains.
