Exclusive: It doesn't feel 25 years have passed, says Kajol on achieving milestone

Bollywood favourite Kajol just celebrated 25 years in the industry last Monday. She debuted opposite Kamal Sadanah in the Rahul Rawail film Bekhudi, scripted by Gautam Rajadhyaksha, on July 31, 1992.

Kajol is all set for her next release VIP2 with south superstar Dhanush. Expressing surprise at the passage of time she said “It doesn’t feel that 25 years have passed. But I have had a good time and by God’s grace I will work for 25 more years. Fingers crossed!”

With so much appreciation and respect for her films from fans and critics throughout these years, Kajol has much to be happy about. “It really feels good when people notice your work and appreciate your work and your success. I am happy to be in this space.”

Incidentally, her husband Ajay Devgan is also celebrating a long and successful career of 26 years in Bollywood with innumerable hits under his belt since his first release in November 1991. “Ajay has also completed 26 years and it is a happy moment for all of us.” It sure is a double celebration for this couple!

Now the actress is looking forward good projects and opportunities ahead “I don’t know, I hope I surprise myself,” she says.
