Took seven to eight minutes to needle the thread: Varun Dhawan on 'Sui Dhaaga'

According to reports Varun has just completed a schedule shooting for his next venture Sui Dhaaga'.

Mumbai: The youngest and energetic actor Varun Dhawan has always been vocal during his interactions with the media about choosing to perform varied roles. In the pursuit to perform varied characters, Varun told us recently that he was literally following Director Shoojit Sircar and with great difficulties he could manage to grab coffee meeting with Shoojit.

According to reports Varun has just completed a schedule shooting for his next venture ‘Sui Dhaaga’.

Varun informed us in his recent interaction, “We shot in Bhopal, Chanderi and Delhi and I am working with Anushka for the first time. Working with Anushka is indeed great unchallenging.”

All gaga over the DOP Anil Mehta, Varun says, “He also shot Badlapur. A renowned DOP is doing this film. So that’s great for me as I have already worked with him.”

About mastering the skill of tailoring for his next film, Varun tells, “Yes, it takes some time to at least put the thread into the needle. That is the first step learning tailoring to the T.”

On his initial leanings’ to master tailoring Varun informed us, “I have learnt to thread the needle. Undeniably, how to needle is indeed an art. I took seven to eight minutes to needle the thread but I have mastered it now. I realized that at the initial level we need to wet the thread a little. And then have to cut the thread at the tip and insert the thread into the needle.”

Happy working with director Sharat Kataria Varun excited quips, “I am happy that I am working with an exuberant director Sharat Kataria. He needs no introduction as he is a national award winning director.”
