Not Shah Rukh, but Abhishek Bachchan to play Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Sahir Ludhianvi?
Mumbai: Recently, at the press conference of Priyanka Chopra’s Hollywood film ‘Baywatch’; the actress disclosed that she’s locked three Bollywood films.
With news of ‘Kashibai’ paying a visit to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s abode during her brief trip in Mumbai, makes us assume that out of three films locked by Priyanka, one film might be of the ‘Padmavati’ director.
Rumour says that she will essay the role of writer and poet Amrita Pritam in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next titled ‘Gustakhiyan’.
According to a portal, the latest rumour churning out is, that Abhishek Bachchan will play the male lead opposite the actress.
Well, according to the news in a daily, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has signed Rohit Roy for a three-film deal as a director.
And apparently, Rohit recently met Abhishek Bachchan for a film’s narration.
Does this boil down to the news that Abhishek and Priyanka are highly likely to appear in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film?
Also, Shah Rukh Khan’s name had emerged earlier for the male lead’s role.
Earlier, when Priyanka was questioned about associating with her ‘Bajirao Mastani’ filmmaker, so this is what she had to say, “No truth to any such reports. Yes I am meeting Sanjay sir and we always discuss work and he is someone I would work with all my life till the time he wants to work with me. I am his eternal fan. Every time we discuss a film but we have to still figure out which one will it be. I haven’t given my commitment to any Bollywood film yet. I am not someone who says no to Sanjay sir.”
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently indulged in shooting for another of his magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ with Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor.
