Exclusive: Family in celebration mode as Kangana preps to receive 3rd National award
Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan have been embroiled in a case that is only getting murkier day by day, but looks like despite the ongoing legal battle, the two have enough reasons to smile. Like Hrithik Roshan and ex-wife Sussanne got together to celebrate son’s Hridaan’s birthday. And Kangana is getting ready to receive her third national award at the 63rd National award in Delhi on May 3. This is also a reunion as her entire family will be a part of the big day.
A source reveals that Kangana’s father Amardeep Ranaut is most excited to go to Delhi, “Her father is already started weighing options on what he is going to wear at the prestigious event. Her sister Rangoli joked that no one is going to see you. He wants everyone to go colour coordinated. Kangana's grandfather was an IAS officer, hence these functions hold a lot of value to the family.”
Kangana’s mom Asha will be accompanying her daughter to witness it live. The source further added, “The entire family will be flying with her to the capital and are very excited. Some of her family members have gone to the temple for her well being. Her uncle who is from an army background recently called to wish her all the best for the big day.”
Kangana bagged the best actress award for her brilliant performance in 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'. Her favourite designer, Ami Patel, will be sourcing a dress for her. Last time she gave a traditional outfit a miss when she had gone to receive her award for 'Queen'. It will be interesting to see what she wears this time around.
Corporate Affairs & Information & Broadcasting, Shri Arun Jaitley and Minister of State, I&B, Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore will also be present on the occasion.
