Pratyusha Banerjee death: It's not suicide but a planned murder, claims Ajaz Khan

Mumbai: Pratyusha Banerjee, better known as Anandi for her role in popular TV serial Balika Vadhu, was found dead in her suburban home on Friday at around 5 pm.
According to reports, Pratyusha took this drastic step due to mounting financial pressures over the last year. While some friends claim that she suffered a bout of depression after she recently separated from her boyfriend of two years, Rahul Raj Singh, others claim that the two had secretly tied the knot after their parents disapproved of their livein relationship.

Dolly Bindra today expressed her grief following suspense over the death of Balika Vadhu star Pratyusha Banerjee, saying the latter was strong and cannot commit suicide.
She took to social media and wrote, "Sad and really very hurting to know about pratusha Banerjee today she's no more as I was there at the hospital to see her after I spoke to her mom as her mom is in janshedpur coming tomorrow Mr Deepak Phatangre Incharge officer of the case, saw her lying down as if she's sleeping there's sindhoor on her forehead pratusha was a strong person I cannot digest the fact that she has taken her life."

Actor Ajaz Khan on his part said it appears to be a planned murder. He said, "This can't be suicide. She was a strong girl she can't commit suicide. I feel this is murder and if this is suicide then she was forced to commit suicide. This has happened because of her love life. She had stopped meeting her friends also because he (her boyfriend) didn't like it. When I had met the guy, I had told Pratyusha that you are a beautiful girl please be careful... I met her a couple of days ago and she was fine. So now suddenly suicide! There's obviously something fishy."
Pratyusha hanged herself from a fan at her Kandivli residence but was found and taken to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital where she succumbed.
The Mumbai Police is investigating the matter. Reports suggest that the actress was facing problems in her relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.
Her last status message on Whatsapp read, "Marke bhi muh na tuzse modana" (even after death won't be turning my face away from you) with a smiley.
The Jamshedpur-born actress followed on her early success with popular TV serial 'Balika Vadhu' as Anandi.
She was later seen in the reality dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, Bigg Boss 7 and hosted some episodes of Savdhaan India. She recently appeared in Sasural Simar Ka.
