Prakash Raj lands in legal trouble and this time it's not for anti-BJP comments

Prakash has been served a legal notice for not paying the financier.

Prakash Raj is in legal trouble again. And this time, it’s for a movie. The outspoken actor has been served a legal notice by a man called Zahid Khan, who had apparently gotten Prakash’s directorial debut, Tadka, funded. Tadka is the Hindi remake of the successful Mollywood movie Salt ‘N’ Pepper, by Ashiq Abu.

While the original had Lal and Muthili, Tadka has Nana Patekar, Taapsee Pannu, Ali Fazal and Shriya Saran in lead roles. The movie was shot in 2016, but ran into issues, and couldn’t be released that year, despite Prakash having said he was eyeing a late 2016 release.

Now that the film has found a buyer, the financier is upset that his funds have not come back to him. “Prakash has been served a legal notice for not paying the money back to the financier, even though he has got a big studio to back him,” says a trade source.
