Varun's Judwaa 2 flags off on same day Salman's prequel was released
Mumbai: Varun Dhawan is all set to star in the sequel to his father and notable filmmaker David Dhawan’s 'Judwaa 2' alongside Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez.
According to a daily, Sajid Nadiadwala and David Dhawan, makers of the Salman Khan-starrer 'Judwaa', are making the sequel after 20 years and will flag off the film on Friday, February 2, along with other stars, which is also the same day the original movie was released- February 7, 1997.
David said, "We wanted to start the journey again around the same time, it's the right time."
Varun, who looked immensely excited to start the shoot, said, "Judwaa is the biggest film I have done. I'm a die-hard fan of the original movie so this day is special anyway. Now, I just want to put my head down and be a part of the vision Sajid sir and dad have for the sequel."
The report also suggested that Salman Khan will be making his appearance in the sequel to which David replied, "Salman is all heart. When we need him, he'll be there, but let's get started first."
If that’s true then it’s an exciting news for all Salman Khan fans. ‘Judwaa 2’ is slated to release on September 29.
