Mumbai: Yet another spectacular achievement to Bappi Lahiri’s credit – voices Hindi version of Tamota in Dwayne Johnson starrer 3D-animated film ‘Moana’.
The conceited and self-absorbed 50-foot crab, who lives in Lalotai, considers himself nothing less than a ‘bottom feeder’. It is this notion that leads him to cover himself in bling, hoping it would make up for his perceived shortcoming.
In the making of the video, the man behind bringing Tamota’s character to life, Bappi Lahiri, is all praise for the film and describes his character as someone who, just like him, loves ‘shona (gold)’.
The veteran singer also revealed that his character speaks in heavy Bengali accent.
Bappi Da has also sung a song for this pompous character and it is rightly titled as ‘shona’. The film releases on December 2.
