Mumbai: Alia Bhatt, who recently wrapped up shooting of Meghna Gulzar’s directorial Raazi is now she looking forward for her two big upcoming projects. Raazi stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, where Alia will be seen as young Kashmiri woman and Vicky will portray the role of a Pakistani soldier. The movie is the cinematic adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel ‘Calling Sehmat’. This is going to be next directorial venture for Meghna after Irrfan Khan starrer Talvar.
Alia recently shared a picture on her Instagram in which she is reading the script of one of the movies, she captioned it: “Gully Boy and Brahmastra prep time.”
Last year Alia impressed the audience with her powerful performances in Abhishek Chaubey's Utda Punjab and Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi.
Brahmasta, reportedly, will release in 2019 and it will kick-start a trilogy. The mega project stars Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Alia Bhatt in the lead role and it is also said to be the most ambitious film by Dharma Productions.
Gully Boy, on the other hand, is directed by Zoya Akhtar and it stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead role. Ranveer will be seen playing the role of a rapper in this film and Alia Bhatt as his love interest. Considering it's a Zoya Akhtar film, the expectations are high.
