Here's why Sushant and Parineeti starrer Takadum's shoot has been pushed

According to reports, the film's story has an uncanny resemblance with Ranbir-Anushka starrer 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.

Mumbai: Earlier, there were reports that Homi Adajania's next 'Takadum' starring Sushant Singh Rajout and Parineeti Chopra shares an uncanny resemblance with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.

Soon enough, it was reported that the film's shoot was pushed in order to change the film's screenplay. It was said that the makers delayed the shoot to work on making modifications to their screenplay as there were similarities in the story’s setting with that of Karan's ADHM.

However, Homi Adajania has addressed the rumours. The film shoot of Homi Adajania’s Takadum which was starting with Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra has been pushed to the end of the year and here's why.

When asked about this, the director Homi Adajania denied the reports by saying, "It’s nothing like that at all. We just felt that we needed to rework certain angles, mainly on the structure of the screenplay to improve it. Once this is done and we are happy with the changes we will commence the shoot process."

'Takadum,' touted to be an intense drama, will have the lead pair collaborating with Irrfan for the first time. Reportedly, Sushant plays the role of a singer in the film and has been prepping on his guitar skills for the film.
