Veteran actress and danseuse Hema Malini is keen to inaugurate her new ballet on Ganga in Varanasi with Narendra Modi as the chief guest.

After regaling audiences for years with her dance ballet on Goddess Durga, actress-danseuse Hema Malini is all set to launch her new ballet, this time on the Ganga.
“I’ll be unfolding the entire journey of the Ganges as epitomised by Ganga maiyya (Goddess Ganga). It will be taken to every city in India and to various parts of the world. However, the first performance of this new dance ballet will be in Varanasi, our Prime Minister’s constituency, in January 2019. I hope Modiji will be able to attend it,” says the Dream Girl, who confesses that dance remains her first love.
“I can live without acting. In fact, I’m doing just that. But dance is my life. It gives me a reason to look forward to every day that I wake up,” she says.
