Rajkummar Rao bags Man of the Moment and he totally deserves it!

Rajkummar Rao is a name synonymous with acting. His brilliant portrayal of interesting characters in films like ‘Trapped’, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Omerta’, ‘Newton’ and ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ left everyone spellbound last year.

With more movies like ‘Fanney Khan’, ‘Stree’ and ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ in his kitty this year, the actor is clearly the ‘man of the moment’!

Like last year, the prolific performer continues to sweep major awards this year as well, after he recently bagged ‘Man of the Moment’ award.

Rajkummar, who looked dapper at the coveted award ceremony, said, “While I won several awards last year and this year for acting, I think acting has finally made me beautiful as well with this Vogue Beauty Award. It means a lot. I would like to dedicate this award to my parents for all the support, encouragement and all the hardships that they have faced to make me who I am.”

It is interesting to see Rajkummar break the norm and bridge the divide between commercial and artsy cinema with his movies, and we hope he continues to do so with his real acting skills.
