Mumbai: Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who is quite active on the social media these days, paid his tribute to legendary singer Mohammed Rafi on his 37th death anniversary.

The 64-year-old actor took to Twitter to express his gratitude towards the singing legend.

He wrote, "Remembering the great Mohammed Rafi Sahab. Thank you for being my voice, lost you 37 years back today. Peace be with you!"

In another pic he shared, the 'Kapoor & Sons' star can be seen sharing the frame with actor Jeetendra, Mohammad Rafi and Kishore Kumar.

He captioned this one as, "With the three Legends at the recording of "Deedar-e-Yaar" Jeetendra ji,Rafi sahab and Kishore da.Blessed to have sung in the singers voices."

Rafi did playback for Rishi Kapoor in songs such as Parda Hai Parda from 'Amar Akbar Anthony', Dard-e-Dil from 'Karz' and Tere Dar Pa Aaya Hoon from 'Laila Majnu', among others.

The singer passed away in 1980 due to a heart attack.

On the work front, Rishi Kapoor is all set to share screen space with megastar Amitabh Bachchan after over two decades in the upcoming film '102 Not Out'.

The film that is said to be based on Saumya Joshi's Gujarati play '102 Not Out', will see Amitabh playing a 102-year-old man, while Rishi Kapoor will portray the character of his 75-year-old son.
