Hrithik Roshan was the first choice for the T-Series single Befikra, but since he was not fit, the makers approached Tiger Shroff.
Says Tiger, “Actually, Hrithik sir was to feature in Befikra but since he was injured, the director asked me to do it. The album took a bit of time, approximately nine months, as I was busy shooting for Flying Jat and was also engaged with the promotions of Baaghi at that time. Only after finishing these assignments could I concentrate on Befikra.”
Despite being just two film’s old, Tiger had enough clout to ensure that Disha Patani was cast opposite him for the singles. The actor counters, “No, this is not true. In fact the director also saw Disha’s videos and photographs and he decided to cast her opposite me. I had no qualms that she was a newcomer; I too was a newcomer not long back. Everyone at some point in time is a newcomer.”
He adds, “We (Disha and him) are good friends on and off screen and thus had no problems shooting the video.”
“I know I have shown my dancing and gymnastic capabilities. But with Flying Jat and in my future films, I am planning to do less of these. For me, less will be more. I have tried to add something more to these potentials of mine in Flying Jat. I am trying my best to stay away from the usual.”
There are possibilities that the trailer of Flying Jat will release when Salman Khan’s Sultan releases next week. Says Tiger, “It will be great for our film. Salman Sir has a huge fan following and I am sure our film will also garner a lot of eyeballs. I am excited for it to happen.”
