Mumbai: After the stellar performances by Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the dance film ‘ABCD 2’ received appreciation from the critics’ circle and even minted money at the Box-Office, news about ‘ABCD 3’ has been doing the rounds.
According to a daily, choreographer-director, Remo D’souza has finally locked superstar Salman Khan and his ‘Kick’ co-star Jacqueline Fernandez for the third installment of ‘ABCD’.
Salman and Jacqueline’s chemistry was the most-talked-about thing.
A source revealed to the daily stating, “Salman starts Remo’s film right after he wraps up Tiger Zinda Hai. And the heroine has been finalised. Remo took his film to Jackie and she has liked the idea. She is out of the country, so once she’s back, he will sit down with her for a full script narration and lock her for the film.”
The film is said to be an emotional journey of a father-daughter’s journey to win a dance championship. Salman portrays the character of a 13-year old’s father, which he’s never attempted in his career before. Undoubtedly, the film will revolve around dance, and Salman will undergo immense dance rehearsals before filming for this flick.
“Salman and his daughter need to compete for a dance championship. Jackie plays the role of their dance teacher who helps them learn the ropes of different styles of dance forms.” If Jacqueline’s little stint in Kick’s ‘Jumme Ki Raat’ and her sizzling hot ‘Yaar Na Miley’ version is anything to go by, she’s the perfect choice to play a dance teacher,” added an insider.
‘ABCD 3’ is slated to release on Eid next year....
