First look: Sonakshi Sinha to step into shoes of journalist in Noor
Mumbai: While Sonakshi Sinha has two of her upcoming films 'Akira' and 'Force 2' release this year, she recently gave a nod to Abhay Chopra’s remake of 'Ittefaq' opposite Sidharth Mahotra and Vipul Shah’s 'Namastey England' opposite Akshay Kumar. Now, in an interesting turn of events, the actress has announced yet another film titled 'Noor'.
The film which will be directed by Sunhil Sippy is based on Pakistani journalist writer Saba Imtiaz’s 2014 novel, ‘Karachi You’re Killing Me'. Sonakshi is all set to step into the shoes of journalist named Noor Roy Chaudhary.
The film that will kick off in July will be shot in one schedule and is expected to be wrapped by August. Sonakshi, who is currently vacationing in New York, will start prepping for the film as soon as she is back in the city.
