Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor whose sudden shift to the United States a few months ago left his fans worried under the speculations that Rishi was undergoing cancer treatment. While neither he nor anyone from the Kapoor family confirmed the news, Rishi’s director friend Rahul Rawail confirmed that the actor is healthy and hearty.
A close friend of the actor, Rawail took to his Facebook putting an end to the rumours surrounding Rishi’s health condition.
Along with a picture, where the old besties can be seen sharing a light moment, Rahul announced the news to the world. “RISHI KAPOOR (CHINTU) is CANCER FREE!!!!,” he captioned the picture. In September 2018, when Rishi left the country he took to social media to announce the news saying, “Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus” of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I will be back soon! (sic).”
