Watch: Rajkummar and Shruti are in firebrand form in Behen Hogi Teri trailer

Mumbai: Rajkummar Rao is inarguably among the best actors of his generation today, like so many acclaimed directors vehemently iterate and the argument is not without reason.

The actor is every bit the firebrand performer he's come to be known as in the trailer of his upcoming film, 'Behen Hogi Teri'.

And this time round, he's got Shruti Haasan for company, who herself seems to be in fine form.

The film seems to be a quirky take on the general Indian consensus of women being a mother or a sister.

Rajkummar plays a small town guy who falls hopelessly in love with a beautiful girl, who's got many suiters vying for her esteemed attention.

The trailer thrives on Rajkummar Rao's impeccable comic timing and also has a terrific sidekick act in Henry Tangiri, who played Yuvraj Singh in Neeraj Pandey's 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'.

Helmed by Ajay Pannalal, the film is slated to release on May 26.
