After Shahid Kapoor’s injury to his lip healed, the actor is working on longer shifts for Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Jersey, which is a remake of the Telugu film of the same name.
The shooting, which is taking place in Chandigarh, will now move to cooler locations in Uttarakhand. Our man on the spot says, “There is a schedule which is fixed for Dehradun right after this for this emotional sports drama. The shoot shifts to the Uttarakhand capital in the third week of March. It will have a schedule running into almost two months there before the film can be completed, so that the August 28 deadline for the release of the film can be adhered to.”
Shahid is wearing a cricketer’s jersey for the second time in his career. He had done so earlier for the Yash Raj Film Dil Bole Hadippa directed by Anurag Singh and co-starring Rani Mukerji. Super 30 and Batla House actress Mrunal Thakur plays his love interest in the film.
