I am afraid of losing Malaika: Arbaaz Khan on split rumours

Arbaaz said he was not very possessive about his wife earlier, but that has changed over time.

Mumbai: After subtly asking people to mind their own business with a series of tweets, Arbaaz Khan has yet again come forward to make himself clear.

Arbaaz and Malaika, who recently wrapped up television show 'Power Couple', made an appearance on 'Yaar Mera Superstar' and put an end to the rumours of a split.

Arbaaz said he was not very possessive about his wife earlier, but that has changed over time. He said, “It happens. When you achieve something or someone, you don’t want to lose the person. I love Malaika but I’m possessive about her.”

As a lot has been said about this couple's rocky marriage, Arbaaz made it clear that he would never let go of Malaika. He said, “It wasn’t like this when she was younger or I was more new into the relationship, but it has happened now. She is very precious and dear to me. I love her more than anything else in the world. I’m afraid of losing her now."

He also confessed that he has started listening to his wife more than ever before now. Arbaaz said, “I think with time you don’t have an option but to listen to your wife. The power has shifted now and has gone to Malaika. I also feel that after a certain age, women take control of things and lives.”

Recently, Arbaaz had lashed out in a series of tweets, which read, “Stop frickin reading too much into mine and malaika's Instagram pictures and speculating about our marriage and writing shit everyday. It's not my work or films you are talking about, it's my personal life and marriage and we owe no one any explanations so back off !!! Will talk about my personal life if and when I want to so mind your own business and stop speculating, It shouldn't be hard to understand.”
