'Bestest' granddaughters: Aaradhya poses with Navya Naveli, Big B wears her tiara
Mumbai: For New Year’s Eve, Bollywood stars, especially the couples, head abroad for celebrations, or indulge in parties involving dance and booze.
However, the Bachchans seem to have ushered in 2018 with a quiet gathering at home.
Big B took to Instagram to share a rare picture of both his granddaughters Aaradhya and Navya Naveli together and expressed how daughters are best, but granddaughters are ‘bestest.’
On his blog, he wrote, “The family sits out in the ‘angan’ my most favoured destination in the house .. the wife has decorated the table and the food .. it is intimate and warm and delicious .. the grand children are there in smiles and affection .. and what more can one ever desire .. (sic)"
He also clicked a selfie with Aaradhya’s hair band on his head and how they ‘freak out.’
“And the little one removes here ‘tiara’ hair band , places it on her Dada ji’s head and finds it hilarious ..
"the happiest of new years .. and more .. she designs gentle decorative cards for all and presents little gifts for us .. urging everyone to open the gift and give opinion on it ..(sic) ,” he expressed on his blog.
As far as the members missing from the pictures are concerned, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were spotted together at Gauri Khan’s store earlier in the day, while Jaya Bachchan was snapped arriving for designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s New Year's bash.
