Ayushmann Kuranna Takes jab at Media Hoaxes in Upcoming Horror-Comedy, Thama

Ayushmann Khurrana upcoming horror-comedy movie, earlier titled 'Vampires Of Vijaynagar', has now been renamed "Thama."
'Thama' is a part of Maddock Film's supernatural universe that includes Stree and Bhediya and is set to release this Diwali.
As per a source close to the production house, Ayushmann is going to play the role of a journalist in the movie.
The sources further reveal that there is an interesting scene in a movie planned in a graveyard, showing a fake set up where a dead body is lying in a grave for hours. The scene is meant to be funny while highlighting how the media can create fake stories.
The film 'Thama' has many such exuberant scenes. However, the graveyard scene might have been changed during the shoot.

The movie is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew and Arun Fulara.
This production has more than 10 films lined up. They've delivered many hit films in the past and are producing more movies in comparison to Dharma and Yash Raj Productions.
