Anna Konidela Clarifies Lady in 2011 Photo With Pawan Kalyan Is Not Her

Putting an end to years of online speculation, Anna Konidela, wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, clarified on Wednesday through her Instagram story that she is not the woman seen in an old viral photo with Pawan Kalyan.
The photo, which keeps resurfacing on social media, shows Pawan Kalyan with an actress woman during Teen Maar movie promotions in 2011. Rumours quickly spread claiming the woman was Anna Lezhneva. Fans flooded comment sections debating the identity of the woman in the photo, and the rumour still persists on certain websites that misidentify the lady as Anna Lezhneva.
Taking to social media to address the chatter, Anna Konidela denied the claims. “The lady in the photo with Pawan Kalyan garu is not me,” she said, adding that the lady was actress Dana Marks. In a message written upside down, Anna also wrote, “I have never looked like an actress or a model ever in my life.” The post was in continuation of her posts related to her exercise regime and motivating women to stay fit and healthy.

Anna completed her Master of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore in 2024 and was even lauded by AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for her achievement, terming it an inspiration for women who wish to pursue academics while fulfilling familial roles. Pawan Kalyan also attended the graduation ceremony.
Pawan Kalyan and Anna Lezhneva’s marriage was solemnized at the Hyderabad sub-registrar’s office on September 30, 2013. They have two children, a daughter named Polena Anjana Pawanova and a son named Mark Shankar Pawanovich. Her recent foray into Instagram has garnered nearly half a million followers, and she also responds to some comments on her posts, giving a peek into special moments in her life. Interestingly, the story where she issued the clarification about the actress being Dana Marks was deleted from the stories by the time of publication.
