Director Anil Ravipudi shares excitement about collaborating with Megastar Chiranjeevi for a new venture, set to begin this summer
There’s no doubt that the blockbuster Sankranthi Ki Vasthunnam has catapulted director Anil Ravipudi to new heights in the film industry. With an enviable track record, he has become one of the most sought-after filmmakers, and now, he’s set to collaborate with none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi for his next big venture.
At the pre-release event of Laila, Anil expressed his excitement about the upcoming project, saying, “I just received the boarding pass from BOSS. I truly believe this will be an unforgettable journey for me.”
While he refrained from revealing too many details, Anil hinted that it was still too early to comment. “I’d rather wait for the ‘Mega’ leak about this Megaproject from the Megastar himself,” he joked.
The director of F2 also shared his pride when a special mash-up video of his work was played while sitting next to Chiranjeevi. “Every filmmaker or technician in the industry has watched Chiru Garu’s films at least once, and many dream of working with him. I’m grateful to have this opportunity,” he said.
The highly anticipated project is expected to go on the floors this summer and release next year. Confirming the timeline, Chiranjeevi stated, “We are going on sets from summer,” with Anil visibly elated by the announcement.
