Anil Ravipudi Applauds Prabhas for His Great Sportsmanship
Anil Ravipudi also expressed his team’s commitment to celebrating The Raja Saab wholeheartedly and revealed that they would be attending the premieres scheduled for January 8.

In today’s film industry, where stardom is often measured by box-office numbers and fan following, true greatness is reflected through humility and humanity. New-age director Anil Ravipudi’s heartfelt praise for Prabhas is a powerful reminder of this truth.
What may appear to be a simple statement on the surface actually carries immense depth and dignity. Recently, while speaking at the pre-release event of The Raja Saab, Prabhas made a remark that caught everyone’s attention. Emphasising respect for senior actors, he said that they always come behind their seniors and went on to wish all films releasing during the Sankranthi season grand success.
Director Anil Ravipudi, who is currently busy promoting Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, described Prabhas’ words as a true reflection of his personality. “That one statement itself shows what kind of person Prabhas is. That is exactly why we all lovingly call him ‘Darling Prabhas’. It is his nature and humanity that have brought him to the position he enjoys today. For that statement especially, my heartfelt respect and hats off to Prabhas,” said the director.
Concluding his remarks, Anil Ravipudi also expressed his team’s commitment to celebrating The Raja Saab wholeheartedly and revealed that they would be attending the premieres scheduled for January 8.
Apart from The Raja Saab, several other films are lined up for release this Sankranthi, including Ravi Teja’s Bharta Mahasayulaku Wignapthi, Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Roju, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, along with dubbed releases such as Vijay’s Jana Nayakudu and Sivakarthikeyan’s Parashanti. The total business at stake this festive season is estimated to be over Rs 350 crore.
However, a top distributor cautioned that only three films can be comfortably accommodated during the Sankranthi window, as there are just around 1,500 theatres across the Telugu states. “Dubbed films should ideally be avoided during the festive season. Telugu stars like Chiranjeevi and Prabhas are already in direct competition, while other actors are also aiming to cash in on the festival advantage,” he concluded.
