'Alpha' Gets UA 16+ After CBFC Revisions
The CBFC also directed the makers to submit the film’s dialogue script, clarify the final runtime, and provide a parental consent letter for the child artiste. No footage from the film was deleted.

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s upcoming spy thriller Alpha has received a UA 16+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), but only after the makers made several modifications to the film’s violent content.
According to reports, the board asked the makers to tone down multiple stabbing sequences by replacing them with alternate visuals, remove a foul word, revise the opening disclaimer, and include anti-alcohol disclaimers wherever applicable.
The CBFC also directed the makers to submit the film’s dialogue script, clarify the final runtime, and provide a parental consent letter for the child artiste. No footage from the film was deleted.
