Kanakaratnamma was the mother of renowned producer Allu Aravind and the grandmother of actor Allu Arjun.Her funeral is scheduled to be held at Kokapet later today.
Actors Allu Arjun and Ram Charan have both temporarily suspended their respective film shoots to be with their family. Allu Arjun is flying in from Mumbai, while Ram Charan canceled his shoot in Mysore to return home.
In March this year, Kanakaratnamma was hospitalized in Hyderabad. Two years ago, during an event to commemorate the 100-year legacy of Allu Ramalingaiah, she was seen being brought onto the dias on a wheelchair.
