Film celebs on Pahalgam attack: 'Heartbreaking'
Movie celebrities have condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Kashmir’s Pahalgam town. On Tuesday, terrorists opened fire at a famed meadow near Pahalgam, killing at least 26 people, mostly tourists. The dastardly attack has saddened the movie fraternity.
Taking to social media, noted Telugu heroes have expressed their condolences.
Allu Arjun described the incident as heartbreaking. "Such a beautiful place with kind-hearted people. Condolences to all the families, near and dear to the victims. May their innocent souls rest in peace," the Pushpa actor wrote.
Jr NTR wrote, "Heart goes out to the victims of the #Pahalgam attack. My thoughts are with their families. Praying for peace and justice."
Ram Charan added, "Shocked and saddened by the terror attack in Pahalgam. Such incidents have no place in our society and should be strongly condemned. My prayers are with the families of those affected."
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar wrote that he was horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. "Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families," the Kesari: Chapter 2 actor added.
Actor Mohanlal wrote, "It is devastating to witness such cruelty. No cause can ever justify the taking of innocent lives. To the grieving families, your sorrow is beyond words. Please know that you are not alone. The entire nation stands with you in mourning."
Sanjay Dutt, Sai Dharam Tej, Manchu Vishnu, Sonu Sood and several other celebs also mourned the attack.
