Alia Bhatt in Talks for Key Role in Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel’s Dragon
The makers are expected to make an official announcement on May 20 to coincide with Jr NTR’s birthday.
Over the past few days, director Prashanth Neel and actor Jr NTR’s upcoming movie, Dragon, has become the talk of the town. Recently, rumors circulated that Tovino Thomas might be replaced by Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor in the film.
Now, reports suggest that Alia Bhatt is in talks to play a key role. While the makers have not yet confirmed this, if she joins the cast, it will mark her second Telugu film following her appearance in RRR.
Regarding the production of Dragon, regular shooting is currently underway at Ramoji Film City. The makers are expected to make an official announcement on May 20 to coincide with Jr NTR’s birthday.
Rukmini Vasanth is set to play the female lead, and the project is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. An official release date is also expected to be announced soon.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in the 2024 film Jigra. Her next project, Alpha, is scheduled for a theatrical release by the end of this year.
