Several videos of the family returning to Mumbai after low-key celebrations have emerged online.
Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were spotted together with their daughter Aaradhya at Mumbai airport in the early hours of Monday morning after returning from a vacation. Several videos of the family making a quiet arrival surfaced online, invariably drawing attention from fans and curious netizens. The sighting comes months after rumours of tension between the two began circulating in July last year.
Speculation intensified when the former beauty queen attended Anant Ambani’s wedding with Aaradhya, while the rest of the Bachchan family (read her husband, her in-laws, Shweta, Agastya Nanda, and Navya Naveli) were seen together. The separate appearances led to widespread chatter about a possible rift.
However, the rumours were later put to rest as Abhishek and Aishwarya were spotted together at multiple public events.
On the professional front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan movies, while Abhishek recently appeared in Kaalidhar Laapata and will next feature in Siddharth Anand’s King alongside Shah Rukh Khan. He is also known for the Dhoom and Housefull movies. Last year, he appeared in a documentary miniseries titled Angry Young Men.
