The star, who is also the band ambassador of the kiddie park, took a detour off the sets of ‘Raees’ to attend the launch event in Delhi.
At the event, SRK got candid about his life on sets, his relationship with his three kids and also about his own childhood.
Shah Rukh revealed that his professional commitments hardly give him any ‘family time’, but he makes sure to spend whatever time he gets with his three children - Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.
The 50-year-old actor, who is married to producer-designer Gauri Khan, said that of the two parents, he is his kids’ best friend.
SRK admitted that he didn’t understand everything about kids. But after shooting for 10-12 hours, he said that he makes it a point to go back home and spend time with his kids.
"I know that I am their best friend, with whom they can share anything. I also behave like a friend with them. I love being with children," he told reporters.
With Aryan and Suhana away in London, for their higher studies, Shah Rukh is often seen hopping in and out of the country to pay them short visits.
"Just two days ago, I went to London to spend an extended weekend with Aryan and Suhana as they had off. We hardly talk anything intelligent," he joked.
While Gauri kept baby AbRam company at home, Shah Rukh is often spotted around London treating his kids and their friends to ice-cream a local brunches.
Talking about his time with Aryan and Suhana, Shah Rukh said, "We just lied down on our sofa, watched movies and ate chips. I think I was able to give them that confidence to come and share things with me and if they have done anything wrong they would get their share of punishment too."
The actor said he was very naughty as a kid and that he would often blow up his neighbour's letterbox with firecrackers during Diwali.
The actor recalled an incident at the event saying, "We used to stay in apartments and I used to do many naughty things. I was once caught for doing one wrong thing and got scolding too."
He said, "There was a girl in our building and everybody used to like her. So, when you like somebody, you try to grab her attention like the way I do in my films. I blew up her letter-box. Her mother came to complain about it to my father."
