- It was reported that Asin wanted her wedding to be a private affair, and hence only invite 100 - 200 guests.
- Both bride and groom were dressed in shades of beige and gold.
- The evening ceremony saw the two dress up in beautiful traditional Indian ensembles by designer Sabyasachi.
- Asin's gown was believed to be a simple white Vera Wang ensemble, with a flowing veil, while Rahul looked smart in a sharp black tux.
