Sonam Kapoor attended the FICCI Flo Film Festival to promote her film 'Neerja' a day before it hit theartes nationwide on Friday.
'Mirzya' has been penned by famous lyricist Gulzar and is set to release on October 7th, 2016.- Sonam was seen posing for pictures and selfies with the flight attendants at the special screening.
- A number of flight attendants were also invited to the 'Neerja' screening with Sonam.
- Later the same day, Sonam headed out to catch a special screening of 'Neerja' at a theatre in the city.
- Sonam was quoted as saying, \"Neerja as an empowered and brave young woman embodies the characteristics of women today... brave and ready with what life throws at you. This is what Neerja did under an extraordinary circumstance with a resolve and defiance that was parallel to none.\"
- At the Flo Film Festival, Sonam said Neerja represents the Indian women, who are ready to face any challenge with courage.
- Sonam Kapoor will be seen playing the lead in the biopic based on Neerja Bhanot, a Pan Am flight attendant who died saving passengers on a hijacked plane.
