From Hrithik-Kangana and their 'silly ex' scandal to Preity-Ness harassment case, even the most fairytale-like relationships have come to an end.- The Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut controversy seems to be getting uglier by the day as the former has sent a legal notice to Kangana for tarnishing his image and defaming him. According to the notice, Hrithik wants Kangana to hold a press conference and render an apology, making it clear that it was not him she meant in he recent comments about a 'silly ex'. Hrithik not only claimed that Kangana sent him 1,439 mails, some of them were explicit in nature, he also said that Kangana suffered from Asperger's syndrome which makes her imagine things.
- In 2002, Amitabh Bachchan announced Abhishek and Karisma Kapoor's engagement. It seemed like the perfect match, with two of the biggest families of Bollywood, Kapoors and Bachchans coming together. However, soon the engagement was called off because apparently Karisma's mother Babita was not sure if Abhishek will be able to provide for her daughter. She demanded Amitabh to guarantee that most of his possession will be passed on to Abhishek. It was also said that Jaya Bachchan was not happy with the relationship.
- The Aishwarya-Salman affair created a storm when the news spilled out. After months of physical torture and cheating on several occasion, Aishwarya called off the relationship. Aishwarya went on to say, \"After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked up with everyone, from Abhishekh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened.\" The break-up finally came when she heard of Salman cheating on her.
- The trauma of breaking up with Sooraj Pancholi led Jiah Khan into depression and she eventually committed suicide. In a chilling revelation made last year, Jiah was pregnant with Sooraj's child however due to complications, the child had to be aborted. However, reports claimed that instead of seeking medical aid, Sooraj extricated the foetus and disposed it off in the toilet.
- Preity Zinta made headlines in May last year, when she filed charges against former boyfriend and industrialist Ness Wadia for molestation, threats, and physical as well as verbal abuse. According to a letter she wrote to the Mumbai Commisioner of Police, Wadia, who she had been dating openly since early 2005, would lock her up in rooms and had thrown burning cigarettes at her face. For his part, Wadia has denied all the charges as false.
- Karisma and Sunjay Kapur's marriage has been on the rocks for a long time now. Things took an ugly turn when Karisma registered a case of dowry harassment against him and her mother-in-law Rani Surinder Kapur few months back. Sunjay retaliated by saying that she married him for money and on the rebound after her break-up with Abhishek Bachchan.
- Way back in 2009, Kangana surprised people by declaring her love for Adhyayan Suman. However, the fairytale romance came to an abrupt end and it turned murkier when Adhyayan said that Kangana only knows how to use, abuse and throw. He had gone on a record to say that, \"She has flooded me with abusive calls ever since the truth about her fake claims came out. I have remained silent on her abusive nature for so many years, but she is crossing all limits now. I've wasted two precious years of my life because of her.â€
- She has made it to the headlines time and again because of her controversial link-ups. Kangana was in a relationship with Aditya Pancholi which did not end on a very pleasant note. In an interview, she had mentioned, “I felt trapped. You feel people might help you. But there are no free lunches. But when you are going you fall for it. This man who was my father's age hit me hard on my head when I was 17. I started bleeding. I took out my sandal and hit him head hard and he started to bleed too. I lodged an FIR against the man.â€
