Hyderabad: Woxsen University recently hosted the inaugural edition of CXO Vantage: Global Leadership Conclave 2025 at its campus in Hyderabad. The conclave brought together senior CXOs and global leaders across business, technology, and design for an engaging day of discussions on the most pressing issues shaping the future of work, innovation, and leadership.
The conclave unfolded through three power-packed panel discussions. The AI Double-Edged Sword: Reskilling Workforces While Re-Engineering Business Models, The Green Code Dilemma: Balancing Exponential Tech Growth with Sustainable IT Operations, and AI as Co-Pilot, Not Replacement: Redefining Design, Collaboration & Value in the Augmented Era. These conversations bridged boardroom insights with the aspirations of emerging talent, creating a unique space for knowledge-sharing and mentorship.
The event featured an illustrious line-up of speakers including Aravind Warrier (HR Leader & Lead – People & Culture, Volvo), Alok Kumar (Director of User Experience, Myntra), Munwar Khan (Head of Design & Deputy General Manager, Oppo), Mayur Chaudhary (Vice President – Experience Design, Publicis Sapient), Aziz Tayyaba (Regional Head – Human Resources, Shapoorji & Pallonji), along with leaders from Trimont, DSM Shared Service, 8 Views, KPIT, Vivnovation, Northern Trust Corporation, and Mellow Design, UKG .
Aziz Tayyaba, Regional Head – Human Resources, Shapoorji & Pallonji said, “Businesses today must continuously re-skill and re-engineer themselves to survive in an environment shaped by evolving economics, technology, and AI. The key lies in assessing existing skill sets, investing in people, and aligning them with client and market needs. Just as banking evolved from long queues to ATMs and now digital payments, every sector must adapt. My own journey from geography and defense to the corporate world reflects this re-skilling is not an option, it is the future of business.”
Munwar Khan, Head of Design & Deputy General Manager, Oppo said, "One of the biggest gaps I notice is that students step out of design school speaking the language of creativity, but the industry immediately expects them to speak the language of business. There is little time to bridge that gap. Your creative lingo won’t work there, you need to learn the terminologies, frameworks, and ways of thinking that align with business outcomes. My advice is simple: focus on wealth creation, not just money creation. Wealth does not only mean financial returns; it also means creating value and assets that have lasting impact. Once you build something of real value, money will naturally follow. Creativity backed by value creation is what sets apart a successful professional in today’s world."
Alok Kumar, Director of User Experience, Myntra said, "AI as a co-pilot is a powerful tool, but we must remember that humans are still the captains. The risk comes when we forget empathy. Every user is unique, with different behaviours and ways of engaging with products. While AI can support us with repetitive tasks, like synthesizing data or drafting basic content, the art of truly understanding users remains human. Empathy requires us to first set aside our own biases—‘remove our shoes’—before stepping into someone else’s. That ability to listen, question deeply, and uncover insights that users may not even articulate cannot be automated. AI can accelerate the process, but real connection, judgment, and empathy will always remain in our hands."
Vishal Khurma CEO, Woxsen University, Said, _our focus has never been on the highest LPA, but on building strong, consistent averages that define true student success. CXO Vantage was envisioned to strengthen this approach, by giving our students direct access to global leaders enabling them to interact, learn, and prepare to lead the future. With B.Tech graduates securing an average package of 8 lakhs, this milestone remains unmatched by any institution across AP, TS, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. Further, Woxsen is scaling up MOUs with leading corporates to ensure our curriculum is continuously upgraded and aligned with industry needs, while also offering microcredentials that empower students to navigate the corporate world with greater agility.
Shivaramakrishna Gajawada, General Manager- Corporate Relations, Woxsen University said, “CXO Vantage is not just a conference, it is a bridge between boardrooms and classrooms. At Woxsen, we envisioned this platform to bring global leaders and future changemakers together—where real-world insights meet fresh ideas, and industry experience inspires academic ambition. It is our commitment to nurturing talent that is globally competent and future ready.”
With its blend of industry expertise, academic excellence, and future-focused dialogue, the Global Leadership Conclave 2025 emerged as a catalyst for transformative leadership, empowering the next generation to reimagine growth, innovation, and sustainability.
