TEDxVNRVJIET 2026 Brings Together Diverse Voices, Ideas and Inspiration

In recent years, TEDx has become popular among the younger generation as they are short, engaging, and focused on real stories rather than theory. They create a space where innovation, creativity, and personal growth are openly discussed. They give audiences a chance to listen directly to people from different fields, hear real experiences, and explore ideas beyond classroom learning.

TEDxVNRVJIET is one such platform, and the 2026 edition marked yet another successful season of the event at the campus.

TEDxVNRVJIET 2026 was held on March 23 at VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, continuing the institution’s effort to encourage open dialogue, creativity, and interdisciplinary thinking. Organized under the TEDx framework, the event brought together speakers and participants from various fields, creating an environment where ideas could be exchanged freely. It reflected the institute’s focus on helping students gain exposure beyond academics and connect with real-world p.

The theme for this year was “NUMINA – The Divine Spark, The Unseen Power, and The Extraordinary Potential within us all.” The central idea behind the theme was simple yet powerful, that every individual carries within them an inner spark that goes unnoticed quite often, but it has the ability to bring change, innovation, and transformation. The talks encouraged participants to reflect on themselves, understand their strengths, and develop the courage to follow ideas that may or may not be conventional.

The Tedx aligned with the wider goal of shaping students into confident and self-aware individuals who are prepared for the future.

The event featured speakers from diverse fields such as cinema, entrepreneurship, sustainability, arts, leadership, and public service, making the sessions engaging. Actor-Director, Srinivas Avasarala spoke about creativity, storytelling, and how different experiences shape a person’s professional journey. Actress, Samyuktha focused on emotional well-being and shared a strong message on the importance of maintaining inner peace and balance in daily life.

From the entrepreneurial space, Karthik Voleti discussed innovation, adaptability, and how startups need to constantly evolve with changing times. Sri Charan Lakaraju emphasized the importance of taking initiative early and developing an entrepreneurial mindset among young individuals. Rithika Chowla highlighted the role of sustainability and responsible innovation in building a better future, while Usha Munukutla spoke about how art helps people express themselves and build emotional strength.

One of the most important aspects of TEDxVNRVJIET 2026 was its student-driven nature as they took active responsibility for planning and execution, handling everything from speaker coordination and logistics to branding, technical arrangements, and audience experience. This hands-on involvement helped them understand teamwork, leadership, and event management in a practical way, making the experience as valuable as the event itself.

The event followed the standard TEDx format, with well-structured talks, a thoughtfully designed stage setup, and smooth flow throughout the sessions. It brought together students, professionals, and creative thinkers under one roof, creating a space for interaction, learning, and exchange of ideas.
