Hyderabad: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad announced the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2023 result on Thursday. Education Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy released the result, in the presence of other officials, and congratulated all the candidates, colleges/schools and parents for faring well. As soon as the results were announced, the result link was activated on the official website at eamcet.tsche.ac.in, but crashed for a few minutes due to heavy traffic.
Sanapala Anirudh secured the first rank in the engineering stream with 158.89 marks, while B Satya Raja Jaswanth topped the agriculture stream with 155 marks.
Girls outperformed boys in both streams - for the Agriculture & Medicine stream, 84.63% of boys and 87.02% of girls have qualified, in the engineering stream, 79.21% of boys and 82.07% of girls have qualified.
However, boys dominated the top 5 ranks in both Agriculture and Engineering streams.
A total of 3,20,683 candidates registered for the exam in both streams and of them, 94 per cent had taken the test. Attendance in the A&M stream was 92.35 per cent and in the engineering stream, it was 95.09 per cent. The pass percentage of agriculture and medical stream is 86.31 per cent, while 80.34 per cent of the engineering candidates have qualified.
The EAMCET examination was held from May 10 to 14, 2023 in two shifts.
